The 7th grade students answered the questions about percentages and proportion, which were asked over a painting with the theme of April 23 within the scope of the April 23 event. They created their own new and creative 23 April paintings that contain the same proportion of girls as this painting, 20% of the area is Turkish flag, and the short side is 21 cm without disturbing the proportion of the side lengths of the sample picture. Thanks to this activity, the students reinforced the subjects of ratio-proportion and percentages and learned how to use these subjects on the paintings they make in daily life.
