The “Dr. Yusuf Ziya Efe Mathematics Outstanding Achievement Award,” established in 2009 to honor the late Mathematics Teacher Dr. Yusuf Ziya Efe and highlight the value placed on mathematics at FMV Işık Schools, was presented on November 21, 2024, at the Ayazağa Campus. Selin Meriç from FMV Private Ayazağa Işık Science High School won first place, Berke Güngör from Erenköy Işık High School came second, and Aras Ege Ödül from Ispartakule Işık Science High School placed third.

Selin Meriç will receive her award during the FMV Foundation Anniversary Celebrations on December 14. The jury also recognized Ozan Güven, Elif Şirzai, Nehir Tekin, and Ceren Güler Kuru, candidates from FMV schools, and expressed gratitude to their families and teachers for their contributions to the students' success.
