The International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women is commemorated worldwide on Monday, November 25th to raise awareness. As FMV Private Erenköy Işık High School, we have tried to draw attention to the fight against violence against women, to end violence against women and to strengthen the steps to be taken to ensure gender equality with the events we have organized. We raised awareness on creating an egalitarian and fair society through these events, which also serve the goals of Goal 5: Gender Equality and Goal 16: Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions of the United Nations' "Sustainable Development Goals." Let's all raise our voices against violence and take a strong stance for gender equality. We thank our students and teachers for their participation and support.
