From School Principal
Dear Işık Community;
As Feyziye Mektepleri Foundation Işık Kindergarten, we proudly carry forward the mission of "raising good people first," a legacy that has been guiding us from the past into the future. Inspired by the vision of our great leader, Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, we recognise the vital importance he placed on nurturing children, and we continue to trust and empower our students just as he trusted the youth of our nation. We are committed to providing a safe and inclusive school environment where children have a voice and can make democratic choices. Understanding the developmental needs of our students in the 21st century, particularly those of the Alpha generation, we offer a dynamic and engaging learning space that fosters curiosity, creativity, and the development of 21st-century skills. Atatürk's words resonate deeply with us: “Ladies and Gentlemen, it is evident that the most important and productive tasks are those of education. The true salvation of a nation can only be achieved through education.” Guided by this vision, we continue to nurture the minds and hearts of our students, preparing them to become the future leaders who will carry the "light" of progress forward.
Dear Parents,
Atatürk once said, “My spiritual heritage is science and reason.” As parents who are making thoughtful and conscious decisions to help shape the bright future of our children, you have entrusted us with your most precious gift. We are truly grateful for your trust and partnership.
Our children… Our tomorrow…
As Atatürk so beautifully stated, “Little ladies, little gentlemen! You are the rose, the star, and the light of the future. You are the ones who will illuminate the country. Recognise your value, and work accordingly.” We believe that our dear students, who represent the hope of tomorrow, are making their way through our school with the support of their dedicated teachers, engaging in meaningful learning experiences that will shape them into responsible and compassionate citizens.
I have no doubt that our beloved students will go on to create a peaceful and loving world, carrying forward Atatürk’s timeless ideals of "peace at home, peace in the world."
As we celebrate the 104th anniversary of the opening of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey and the 139th anniversary of the founding of the Feyziye Mektepleri Foundation Işık Schools, we are honoured to share this journey with you.
May the new academic year bring brightness and success to us all.
With warm regards;
Filiz ÇAPÇI
