Dearest Students;
Feyziye Mektepleri Vakfı Işık Schools has been a pioneer foundation since 1885 with its modern and reformist view in education along with 139 years of experience.
Educational facilities in our campus have started in 1985, which was also the hundredth year of the Feyziye Mektepleri Foundation. In February 2009, our school was accredited by Council Of International Schools (CIS) thereby it was officially recognized as a modern school with universal educational standards.
Aiming to get a worldwide recognition, we were authorized to apply the International Baccalaureate Program and we have started off in 2014-2015 academic year. During the preparation years of the diploma program, we mostly emphasized on academic honesty, international mindedness, learner's profile and an on-going professional development that helped us to raise our educational standards.
As our great leader said "Our most important mission is to succeed in National Education. Only through this way, may we reach the light" (1922) Işık schools are aiming to raise students under the light of our great leaders' principles and reforms and also students who are researchers, critical thinkers, creative developers, scientific-minded life-long learners, environmentally sensitive citizens and socially active cosmopolites. And now, we are growing our family by adding a Science High School in Ayazağa Campus in 2017-2018 academic year.
Aiming to raise socially skilled, strong and confident individuals and world citizens, FMV Ayazağa Işık High Schools prepare its students for Turkish or abroad Universities. We integrate technology into classrooms -as inevitable in our century and also care for students' different learning skills meanwhile using the varied and rich facilities of the campus. While we aim to make our technological infrastructure better, our administrators and fellow teachers are in a continual professional development phase. In order to turn our students into analytical minded individuals who know the scientific research methods and also associated in arts and sports; we do our best to follow them closely and share our observations with our parents.
