The 11th Philosophy Book Workshop, organized by Işık Schools as part of philosophy classes, was held on May 9, 2023, with the participation of students and philosophy teachers from FMV Ayazağa Işık High School and Science High School, FMV Işık High School, FMV Erenköy Işık High School, and FMV Ispartakule Işık High School hosting.

During the workshop, our students worked together to examine the work of Jean Paul Sartre, French philosopher and founder of existentialism and his book Existentialism. Students looked at individual self-realization, responsibilities towards others and oneself, freedom of thought and choices, the idea of choosing oneself, and realizing one's existence by directing oneself towards a purpose outside oneself.
