On May 12, 2023, Friday, the "Breaking the Walls: Teacher-Student Symposium" was organized by the Turkish Language and Literature Department of FMV Işık High School, based on William Sutcliffe's work "The Wall". FMV Ayazağa Işık Science High School Turkish Language and Literature Teacher Cenk Tutar and 10 students from Class 10 FEN A participated in the symposium with their presentation titled "From Literature to Cinema: Wall-Breaking Heroes".

In the presentation titled "Wall-Breaking Heroes from Literature to Cinema", attention was drawn to the prejudices of society in literature and cinema, and unconventional heroes who break taboos, and make a difference in their own lives and those around them were discussed. At the end of the symposium, participation certificates were given to the teacher and the students involved.
