“CERN” SCIENCE TRIP
A scientific trip was organized with FMV Ayazağa Işık High School and Science High School students to the European Nuclear Research Center - CERN in Geneva, Switzerland, between 25-29 April 2024. CERN was established in 1954 with the participation of 12 countries; It is the world's largest particle physics laboratory, where answers are sought to questions such as how the universe was formed and how substances gain mass.
During this trip, which was carried out under the guidance of research assistants working at CERN, our students increased their knowledge and awareness by seeing and examining the studies on site. Also during the trip, our students visited Zurich, Bern, Montreux, Lausanne, Geneva, Lyon and Paris, and had the opportunity to see the historical, natural beauties and landmarks of Switzerland and France to improve themselves both scientifically and culturally.
