EurOPEN 2021 Online
FMV Ayazağa Işık High School Students at EurOPEN 2021 Debate Tournament FMV Ayazağa Işık High School represented Turkey in the international debate tournament called "EurOPEN 2021 Online", in which 162 teams and 506 high school students from 16 different countries and 4 continents competed between 12-17 November 2021. Arda Kaz, Bartu Bişgen, Ece Lise, Ege Çavuş, Ela Uçan and Erkin Falcıoğlu had 6 matches, each lasting approximately one hour, with the teams of China, Japan, India, Russia, Slovenia, Sri Lanka, and Japan.
Debate Motions are as follows.
- THP a world where developing countries adopted 3rd world alternatives to current international institutions (eg African Criminal Court or BRICS Development Bank) instead of remaining in current international institutions (eg the International Criminal Court, World Trade Organization, World Intellectual Property Organization).
-THBT the UEFA should set absolute financial caps on transfers and salaries.
-THBT environmental organizations should pivot towards a campaign of sabotage and destruction as their primary mode of activism.
-THBT the feminist movement should focus significant time, platform and resources towards combatting benevolent sexism.
-THS political neutrality incorporates work settings.
