HISTOLAB: 'TRANSNATIONAL HISTORY EDUCATION AND COLLABORATION LABORATORY' PROJECT
Within the concept of history classes at FMV Ayazağa Işık High School's Social Sciences Department, our students Irmak IŞIK and Toprak KILIÇ from 10B class participated, representing our school in the Histolab Project initiated by the Ministry of National Education - Directorate General of European External Relations, announced by the European Union and the European Commission.
Our students created an article utilizing oral history methods, focusing on the theme 'How can history education present overlooked or neglected stories more broadly?'
The works of the participating students will be submitted to the HISTOLAB Project Office for final evaluation by the Project Advisory Board in Strasbourg, and the results will be announced. Winning projects will be invited to a ceremony held in Strasbourg, France, from April 3rd to April 5th, 2024.
We thank our history teacher and students who contributed to the project and wish them success in the process."
