FMV Ayazağa Işık High School and Science High School Debate Club students participated in the Nordic Schools Debate Competition, an international English debate competition, held in Denmark between April 18 - 22.

11th grade IB student Ayşe Deren Aktürk was recognized with a certificate for 4th best Speaker at the tournament, receiving high scores in all her matches from the jury panel, which consisted of international debate coaches. Among the speakers who use English as a Foreign Language, 11th grade IB student Nil Sarper ranked 15th and 11th grade student Talya Iris Tokbaş ranked 18th. Talya also earned the best score in the tournament with 73 points in the 2nd match.
