The FMV Ayazağa Işık High School and Science High School Debate Society Club students participated in the International Debate Tournament "Prague Debate Spring 2021", held between April 10-14 of 2021, where 400 students from 23 different countries competed.

Our students were comprised of 4 teams which included debaters Arda Kaz, Ayşe Ece Altan, Ayşe Mehveş Gökhan, Bartu Bişgen, Çağan Berk Yüksel, Defne Soyarık, Dilara Yıldız, Duru Alpay, Ece Lise, Ege Berk Karagöz, Ege Çavuş, Ela Uçan, Eslin Geron, Erkin Falcıoğlu, İrem Karahallı and Maya Kosovo. Our teams competed against other teams from around the world from places like the Czech Republic, China, Japan, Canada, Lithuania, Mexico and Slovenia.

To prepare for the tournament our students attended two seminars prior to the debate event to improve their debating skills and learn more about the tournament. These activities provided useful information and practice for our students.

We congratulate the Debate Society Club students who successfully represented both our country and our school in the tournament, and we wish them continued success.
