The Mathematics Department of FMV Private Ayazağa Işık High School and Science High School organized an excursion to Nesin Mathematics Village in Şirince, Izmir, from April 24th to 26th. A group of 9th-grade students participated in the trip, where they received mathematics lessons from academics, explored various applications and proof methods of mathematics, and gained new perspectives. Accompanied by a guide, they also toured nearby historical sites such as the Ephesus Ancient City and the Church of Virgin Mary, enriching their historical knowledge. In the tranquil setting of Nesin Mathematics Village, surrounded by nature, they experienced village life and engaged in culturally and educationally enriching activities.
