ONE OF THE MOST MAGNIFICENT MUSEUMS IN THE WORLD: TOPKAPI PALACE MUSEUM TOUR
A tour of the Topkapı Palace Museum was organized by the FMV Ayazağa Işık Science High School Social Sciences Department as part of the History class studies on Wednesday, April 24, 2024, for our 10th-grade science class students.
During the tour, our students visited sections such as the Kubbealtı, where the Imperial Council meetings were held, the Sacred Relics, the Treasury, the Weapon Collection, the Audience Chamber, the Baghdad Pavilion, the Revan Pavilion, and the Mecidiye Pavilion, which bear traces of the Ottoman civilization in many respects, in the Topkapı Palace, which was the administrative center of the Ottoman Empire.
They explored the courtyards belonging to the Birun and Enderun parts of the palace by passing through three main gates and had the opportunity to reinforce their knowledge about the Ottoman Central Administration in the Classical Age, which they had learned in history classes.
We would like to thank all those who helped organize and participated in the event.
