OUR E-TWINNING PROJECT: "THE DYNAMICS OF OPPRESSION AND THE OPPRESSED IN LITERATURE”
The 11 IB and 11 F class students of FMV Ayazağa Işık High School, along with students from Terakki Foundation Schools, came together for the jointly organized e-Twinning Project titled "The Dynamics of Oppression and the Oppressed in Literature” . On Saturday, May 11th, the meeting took place at the Terakki Foundation Schools Tepeören Campus, followed by another gathering at Ayazağa Işık High School on Saturday, May 18th.
At the Tepeören Campus of Terakki Foundation Schools, our students were divided into four groups representing Asia, Europe, America, and Africa continents. They explored the oppressor-oppressed relationship in the literature of different countries and societies, and presented their findings with increased awareness at the end of their research.
Meanwhile, the groups working on collegium studies at FMV Ayazağa Işık High School questioned universal problems through the cultural and social characteristics of their own society using Theory of Knowledge (ToK) questions and shared their views on the oppressor-oppressed relationship in literature.
Throughout the project, based on the discussed concepts, themes, and reached conclusions, each student will write an analytical essay and publish a joint booklet entitled "The Dynamics of Oppression and the Oppressed in Literature"
