European Nuclear Research Center CERN Atlas Experiment National Coordinator, Prof. Dr. Serkant ÇETİN met our students on April 19, 2024 for a talk titled “What's Happening at CERN?” as part of the Science and Technology Meetings series organized by FMV Ayazağa Işık High School and Science High School.

Prof. Dr. Çetin enlightened our students on topics such as what field studies carried out at CERN serve, how they affect our lives, the experiments carried out in the CERN laboratory, the development of the laboratory, and Turkey's place in CERN. His talk left its mark on our students because of its clear explanation of complex questions, such as what particle physics studies seek to answer.
